Guests will begin each day with a traditional Tuscan breakfast prepared by their excellent chef. Following Easter Sunday Mass in the estate’s historic and very romantic chapel (TIP – also a great wedding location for an intimate event), guests will enjoy a traditional four-course Easter lunch for two, prepared with ingredients grown on and near the property. We support Locavore dining anywhere in the world, and this is paired with wines from the local Tenuta La Badiola vineyard. Families and their dogs go trick a treating on Halloween in their local neighborhoods, and for some who live in New York, it’s to the Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade now in its 19th year.

This event is the largest dog Halloween party in the U.S. with a huge ‘happy to show’ over 400 costumed dogs and their happy owners (or as I see it, these dear animals actually adopt you, not the other way around). TIP – Four legged friends sometimes get neglected when party time is happening so ensure their needs are well taken care of just as you would any children around.

TIP – Enjoy walking your dogs costumed, but make sure the wardrobe is not too heavy for a dog’s body weight and not constricting their neck. Have plenty of dog treats on hand. Do take care to avoid feeding dogs human treats. They’re not made for animal stomachs and could even cause a fatal reaction. Enjoy your holiday events and send us your dog costume pics, we’d love to see them!
